Mladinska Knjiga Dissatisfied with Last Year's Business Results

Publisher Mladinska Knjiga grossed SIT 4.3 billion in 1997, while its net profit reached SIT 259.3 million, according to the unaudited figures. The return on capital was 7.3 percent. "We are not satisfied with the results because we did not achieve the set goals," Mladinska Knjiga Director Milan Matos said. The company's gross earnings were up 3 percent over 1997, with its net profit falling 7 percent.
