Air pollution claimed more lives in 2022 than the year before
Copenhagen, 10 December - The number of deaths in Slovenia that can be attributed to exposure to PM2.5 particles rose by 90 to 1,280 in 2022 compared to the year before, shows the latest report by the European Environment Agency (EEA) released on Tuesday. But compared to 2005, the number of deaths attributed to PM2.5 particles was nearly halved.
