Committee confirms Šoštanj emergency bill

Ljubljana, 11 December - The parliamentary Infrastructure Committee has endorsed an emergency bill that seeks to prevent the bankruptcy of the Šoštanj coal fired power station (TEŠ) and its sole source of coal, the Velenje coal mine, by providing stop-gap financing until 2027.
