Embassy in Washington hosts exhibition on Lipizzan horses
Washington, 11 December - The Slovenian Embassy in Washington hosted a reception on Tuesday for Independence and Unity Day that included the opening of an exhibition on the world-famous Lipizzan white horses. The exhibition notes the role of US general George Patton in bringing the horses back to the Lipica stud farm after they were taken by the Germans during World War II.
