Eurostat Director: Slovene Statistics is Satisfactorily Developed

Ljubljana, 24 April - Slovene statistics has reached a level of development that will not hinder the country's accession to the European Union, Eurostat Director Yves Franchet told a news conference on Friday. He said some shortcomings were only observed in agriculture statistics, and progress should be made in statistics of public finance and finance accounts which have to be comparable to the data of other countries.
