Irregular border crossings down 20% in year to November

Ljubljana, 16 December - Slovenian police intercepted 44,331 migrants who attempted to cross the border irregularly in the first eleven months of the year, down a fifth on the year before. Syrians remain by far the largest group, followed by Afghans.
