Journalists' association urges law change to prevent defunding of STA

Ljubljana, 16 December - The Slovenian Journalists' Association called for legislative changes that would prevent the kind of defunding the Slovenian Press Agency (STA) witnessed in 2020 and 2021 as it responded Monday to a Court of Audit report showing that the current law governing the STA is ambiguous and must be changed.
