Weekly review of events in Slovenia from April 18 through 24

Ljubljana, 25 April - In a referendum on forming new municipalities last weeks voters opted for 29 new municipalities, rejecting eight. Under a Constitutional Court ruling, the National Assembly has until 20 May to call another 20 referenda, 18 of which for forming new municipalities. According to National Assembly Speaker, the referenda will be held on 21 June.
