Almost a year on, doctors' strike continues
Ljubljana, 17 December - It will be one year on Wednesday since the Fides trade union of doctors and dentists announced a strike which then got under way in mid-January and is yet to end. The lengthy strike continues because decision-makers have not done much to improve working conditions for doctors and other health workers, said Fides head Damjan Polh.
