Motion to dismiss National Assembly president fails

Ljubljana, 17 December - The National Assembly has voted down the opposition-sponsored motion to dismiss its president Urška Klakočar Zupančič over her alleged violations of the parliamentary rules of procedure, laws and the Constitution and inappropriate conduct. Both Klakočar Zupančič and coalition parties argued the charges were baseless.
