Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 19 through 25 April

Ljubljana, 26 April - The Government confirmed a bill on VAT and an excise duties bill to take effect on 1 July 1999 at its regular weekly session on 23 April. The government was briefed on preparations for the pension and disability insurance system reform. The latter was presented after the session by Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Anton Rop.
