International Symposium on 300th Anniversary of Francesco Robba's Birth, and on Venetian Sculpture of 18th Century

The Ljubljana National Gallery will host an international symposium on 16 through 18 October to mark the 300th anniversary of sculptor Francesco Robba's birth. Entitled Francesco Robba and Venetian Sculpture of the 18th Century, the symposium will feature oral presentations by experts from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Russia and the USA. During the symposium, a documentary exhibition of Robba's works will be staged and a tour of Ljubljana organized in order to give the participants an opportunity to examine Robba's and other Venetian sculptors' works at close.
