SDS's proposal on exemption for flood-related advances rejected

Ljubljana, 14 January - The relevant parliamentary committee has rejected the proposal of the opposition Democratic Party (SDS) that beneficiaries of advances for flood damage repairs of up to EUR 20,000 not be required to show proof of the work done. The coalition MPs believe that the proposal runs against the principles of transparent spending of public funds.
