Slovenia focused on meeting 2% of GDP defence spending target
Ljubljana, 16 January - Following indications from NATO that allies will have to increase the defence spending benchmark from the current 2% of GDP to over 3%, a Defence Ministry official has said Slovenia will focus on honouring its commitment of increasing spending to 2% of GDP by 2030. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves," State Secretary Damir Črnčec told the STA.
