PM Golob says defence spending will need to be increased to 2% of GDP before 2030
Brussels, 6 March - Slovenia will need to increase defence spending to 2% of GDP before the 2030 target year outlined in the country's current defence investment plan, Prime Minister Robert Golob said as he arrived at the EU summit in Brussels on Wednesday. He declined to elaborate on specifics of the spending increase, a topic EU leaders will also debate.
