The new record caps what has been an amazing run for Prevc, who will celebrate her 20th birthday tomorrow, after she secured her second consecutive Crystal Globe for the overall victory in the World Cup on Thursday.
Prevc secured the overall victory two weeks before the end of the season by dominating the World Cup meet in Oslo, which comes after she won two gold medals and one silver medal at the recent Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim.
Previously, her personal best was 190.5 metres, which means that she soared more than 45 metres past this mark, and also ten metres longer than the previous Slovenian women's record, set by Ema Klinec in March 2023.
