Opposition fail in push for tighter security measures
Ljubljana, 14 March - The parliamentary Home Affairs Committee has voted down a proposal by the opposition Democratic Party (SDS) to urge the Interior Ministry to take measures to improve security in the country. Unlike the SDS, ministry and police officials insist Slovenia is a safe country.
