Minister advocates for simpler CAP and targeted direct payments for young farmers

Brussels, 24 March - The EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) must be simpler, predictable and stable, Slovenia's Agriculture Minister Mateja Čalušić said as EU ministers in charge of the sector held the first discussion about visions for CAP for the future in Brussels on Monday. She also met Agriculture and Food Commissioner Christoph Hansen.
