Core EU states exploit periphery, fmr finance minister tells panel
Ljubljana, 2 April - A panel debate accompanying Wednesday's launch of a book by Dušan Mramor heard the former finance minister argue that the impact of EU economic policy on Slovenia has not always been beneficial. Mramor said peripheral member states undeniably occupied a subordinate role that was readily exploited by core nations.
