FM says Slovenia likely to up defence spending ahead of plans

Brussels/Ljubljana, 4 April - Slovenia will likely increase its defence spending to 2% of its GDP significantly before 2030 as was originally planned, Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon said at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels. According to Fajon, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not mention an increase to 5% of GDP at the meeting.
