Test Census Results Presented

The strongest age group in Slovenia are the young between 20 and 24 years, who comprise 7.8 percent of the population. The most common family type are married couples with children, though their number has gone done recently on account on unmarried couples with children. These are some of the results of the test census of the population, households and apartments, carried out in April by the National Statistical Office (SURS) in preparations for the general census, to be carried out on 31 March 2001.
