Slovene Press on Opinion Poll Conducted among Believers

The Slovene press comments Friday on an opinion poll conducted among the believers of the Koper diocese, western Slovenia, as part of preparations for the Roman Catholic Church synod in Slovenia. Believers in the Koper diocese are most disturbed by Church's interference with political affairs (over 52 percent) and by its conduct in dealing with denationalization issues (33.7 percent), the opinion poll, surveying the most topical questions about the functioning of the Church in the Slovene society, has revealed.
