Slovene Artists and Intellectuals Participate in Festival of Central European Culture in London

London, 6 July - BRITAIN/FESTIVAL/CENTRAL/EUROPE/CULTURE
The 'Festival of Central European Culture', under way from 21 June through 12 July and the first festivity of its kind hosted by Great Britain, features nine Central European countries, including Slovenia, whose elite and popular culture is promoted by over 50 artists, performers and intellectuals. The festival has been initiated by Austria on the occasion of its first presidency of the EU in the second half of 1998.
