D&B Regional Risk Indicator: Slovenia Retains the Best Rating

Slovenia has retained the most favourable regional risk indicator among the 21 East European countries, Dun&Bradstreet says in July's report. The British agency establishes Slovenia's risk outlook remains positive even after the accession negotiations with the EU have started; despite signs of political inertia the country remains firmly in the path towards EU membership. In its review of economic indicators, the D&B agency envisages the inflation rate of 10 to 12 percent in 1999, or by two percent down from the forecast stated in D&B's report last June.
