International Workshop on Defence Restructuring and Conversion

Bled, 10 July - DEFENCE/RESTRUCTURING/WORKSHOP
Central part of the international conference "Socio-Cultural Aspects of Defence Restructuring and Conversion" started Friday at Bled, northwestern Slovenia. The workshop, organized by the management board of the COST A 10 action 'Defence restructuring and Conversion' at the European Commission and the Defence Research Centre at Ljubljana's Faculty of Social Sciences, is intended to help participants better understand the complexities of defence restructuring and conversion in the post-cold war era, both in the international community and Slovenia.
