More than Half of Slovenia's Exports Go to the EU

Ljubljana, 13 July - STATISTICS/FOREIGN/TRADE
Slovenia exported to EU countries 64.9 percent of its overall exports in the first five months of this year, amounting to US$ 3.59 billion. The share of imports from those countries was 68 percent of the total of US$ 4.11 billion. The regional structure of foreign trade shows Slovenia exported most to ex-Yugoslav republics (15.2 percent), CEFTA member states (6.3 percent), former Soviet Union countries (4.8 percent) and non-European OECD members (4.4 percent).
