Stronger Participation of Social Partners and Interest Groups in EU Accession Process

Social partners and interest groups must be actively included in the process of admitting new members in the EU from the very beginning. This was agreed on Tuesday in Brussels by participants of a two-day conference on the European Union enlargement, given for representatives of economic and social associations from applicant countries, including Slovenia, by the Economic and Social Committee and the Technical Assistance Information Exchange Office (TAIEX).
