Podobnik: Protective Legislation Is Not Reaction against the EU

Ljubljana, 15 July - One year after Slovenia's parliament ratified the Europe Agreement, Deputy Prime Minister Marjan Podobnik and his colleagues on Wednesday presented a special development strategy with the proposed measures to set up an active landscape policy and harmonize property and environment legislation as Slovenia is joining the European Union. Podobnik is in charge of coordinating the preparation of legislation aimed to protect the national interest regarding immovables.
