Ministries Propose Intervention Measures be Passed to Help Agriculture

Ljubljana, 20 July - AGRICULTURE/DAMAGE/HAILSTORM
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and Ministry of Environment will suggest to the government to adopt before the August recess intervention measures to help those agricultural areas that suffered most in June's hailstorm. The government will be asked to provide up to SIT 200 million to ease the situation in the ten most affected municipalities, Ministry of Agriculture officials told a news conference on Monday.
