Unemployment Down for the Fifth Month in a Row

Ljubljana, 21 July - EMPLOYMENT/OFFICE/UNEMPLOYMENT
There were 123,293 unemployed persons registered with the National Employment Office at the end of June. The office thus recorded a fall in unemployment for the fifth month in a row; it was down by one percent from a month before and up by 0.6 percent from June 1997.
