Regulation on Extra Property for Privatization Next Week

The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning proposed to the government the project Slovenia and the EU, an updated strategy of economic development for Slovenia. The ministry is also drafting a regional development strategy and a report on FDI to provide a basis for drafting a FDI promotion programme, Minister Marjan Senjur told a news conference on Wednesday.*** The ministry approved two takeovers and is considering approving yet another one based on the 1997 takeover act. Company enlargement through takeovers is necessary, but the ministry and the government will also considered interests of small shareholders in considering takeover bids, the minister said.
