Premier Drnovsek Received by Rumania's President Constantinescu

Bucharest, 24 July - SLOVENIA/RUMANIA/DRNOVSEK/CONSTANTINESCU
Slovenia's Premier Janez Drnovsek, on his first official visit to Rumania Friday, was received by President Emil Constantinescu, who hailed closer cooperation between the nations - in economy particularly within CEFTA - and pointed to some common aims, such as membership of the EU and NATO. An argument in favour of Slovenia and Rumania's integration into NATO is that both nations are an element of stability in Southeastern Europe, according to Constantinescu.
