Government Denies Rumors about 6.4 Percent Budget Deficit

Ljubljana, 24 July - GOVERNMENT/BUDGET/DEFICIT
The government denied rumors Friday about Slovenia running a 6.4 percent budget deficit. Government Secretary General Borut Suklje said for STA such allegations were false because all official statistics and other available information and assessments from abroad put the deficit at 1 to 1.1 percent.
