Slovenia's Population Shrinks Again

Ljubljana, 26 July - Slovenia had a population of 1,983,351 at the end of March, 51.2 percent of which were women and 48.8 percent men. The population decreased again compared to the last quarter of 1997, this time by 1572 persons. In a year Slovenia's population was down by 3100.
