Power Supply to Croatia to Be Reduced

The Ministry of Economic Activities has been informed about the latest financial position of the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant. As the Croatian side has not made any move to solve the issue of the outstanding debts of the Croatian electricity provider for the supplied power, the Ministry has notified the Slovene electricity provider (ELES) to take all the necessary measures and activities to reduce power supply. ELES has informed the Croatian electricity provider of reductions in power supply to take effect within the next 24 hours, the Ministry of Economic Activities said on Wednesday.
