Government Confirms First Position Papers for Negotiations with the EU

The government endorsed at its session Thursday the position papers to serve as a basis of negotiations with the EU for sever areas, Minister of European Affairs Igor Bavcar told a news conference after the session. The position papers for telecommunications, culture and audiovisual policy, science and research, education, training and the youth, small and medium enterprises, the industrial policy as well as the common foreign and security policy will be sent to parliament on Friday. The government also approved a report on the implementation of the National Programme for the Adoption of Acquis (NPAA).
