Majority of Slovene Banks Not Prepared for Liberalisation

New York, 3 February - BANKS/SLOVENIA/LIBERALISATION
Moody's, a New York-based agency assessing investment conditions, has said in its report that most of the Slovene banks are insufficiently prepared for liberalisation of the banking sector. Slovene banks were said to be too small and burdened with too high operating costs, a limited number of products and services as well as with uncompleted restructuring of the Slovene economy.
