Slovenia-EU Association Council Meets for the First Time

Luxembourg, 22 February - Slovenia and the European Union met for the first association council meeting in Luxembourg on Monday. Attended by Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and European Affairs Minister Igor Bavcar on behalf of Slovenia, the session dealt with the preparations for Slovenia's integration into the EU and certain outstanding issues, including the problem of duty-free shops on Slovene road border corssings.
