Lek Reports 10 % Higher Profits

Pharmaceuticals maker Lek had a successful year in 1998 despite tougher conditions in certain markets. Its sales increased by 6 percent y/y to SIT 46 billion (about US$ 267m), with pre-tax profits going up by 10 percent to SIT 4.7 billion (US$ 27.3m).
