SKB Banka Reports Lower Profits in 1998

SKB Banka had SIT 281.2 billion (US$ 1.63b) in total assets at the end of 1998 and a 11.5 percent market share. Its gross revenues amounted to SIT 1774.4 million (US$ 1.03b) which puts return on equity at 6.2 percent according to Slovene bookkeeping standards, while according to international bookkeeping standards the bank's revenues amounted to SIT 2625.3 million (US$ 1.52b), the bank reported.
