Slovenia Celebrates a Number of Anniversaries in 2000

Slovenia will celebrate a number of round anniversaries in the year 2000. A decade ago key events took place which lead Slovenia to independence and presented the realisation of increasing demands for democratisation, sovereignty of the Slovene people and the introduction of political pluralism, which marked the end of the 80s.
