Six Foreign Nationals Caught in NE Slovenia

Murska Sobota, 3 January - ILLEGAL/IMMIGRATION
Three Iraqi and three Iranian nationals who crossed the Slovene border illegally were caught by police on Sunday near the town of Ljutomer in northeastern Slovenia. The illegal migrants are accommodated at a centre for foreigners until they are sent back to neighbouring countries, the police from the city of Murska Sobota reported on Monday. Three other foreign citizens who did not have the necessary documents to enter Slovenia were rejected by local police.
