Election Results Announce New Era in Croatia, Slovene Officials Maintain

Ljubljana, 4 January - The victory of the opposition in Croatia was "not unexpected", and can be understood as a clear sign of a new era beginning in Croatia, the Office of the Slovene Prime Minister, Janez Drnovsek, told STA on Tuesday. In this new era Croatia might also use Slovenia's experience to made further steps towards its integration into international, but mostly European institutions as well as towards democratisation of the country.
