Company Representatives Criticise New Visa Policy

Ljubljana, 6 January - CHAMBER/COMMERCE/VISAS
Representatives of the Slovene Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GSZ) and officials from the interior and foreign ministries met on Thursday to discuss the recent introduction of visas for the Russian federation, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Turkey. The Chamber, which initiated the meeting, believes that the new visa policy was not thoroughly deliberated, ill prepared and not harmonised. The politics failed to consider the needs of the economy, therefore visas were introduced without a prior analysis of the situation and consequences, stressed GZS.
