Green Light for Amended Budget Bill

Ljubljana, 7 January - The Slovene parliamentary committee for finances and monetary policy on Friday's session supported the Amended 2000 budget bill and the bill on budget implementation. The Amended budget bill foresees a minor change, i.e. SIT 1,021.3 billion (DM 10.213 billion) of incomes (originally SIT 1,020.8 billion) and SIT 1,060.1 billion (DM 10,601 billion) of expenditures (originally SIT 1,059.9 billion). According to the budget bill the budget deficit now amounts to SIT 38.79 billion (originally SIT 39.09 billion).
