Minister Senjur Explains This Year's MEOR Aims

Annual inflation in Slovenia amounted to eight percent in the period between December 1998 through December 1999. Minister of Economic Relations and Development (MEOR), Marjan Senjur, said that this should drop to between four and five percent by the end of 2000. Senjur added that the January annual inflation (the increase in prices for necessities in comparison to January 1999) was estimated to be lower than eight percent.
