Frlec: Slovenia's Integration into NATO Would Promote Stability in SE Europe

By including Slovenia in the next wave of NATO expansion, the alliance would send an important signal to the countries in Southeastern Europe; not only would this step give them a hope for their own inclusion at some later point, but an expanded NATO would help spread security and stability to the countries in its immediate vicinity, Slovene Foreign Minister Boris Frlec wrote in an article published in the latest edition of NATO Review, a NATO trimonthly.
