Executive Secretary of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification Visits Slovenia

Ljubljana, 11 January - Executive Secretary of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification Hama Arba Diallo on Tuesday arrived on a two-day visit to Slovenia. He will meet with Slovene Minister for Environment and Physical Planning Pavel Gantar and State Secretary at the Ministry for Environment and Physical Planning Franci Steinman. The visit aims at presenting the Convention and calling upon Slovenia to ratify it as soon as possible, the Ministry for Environment and Physical Planning reported.
