The Trojane Tunnel to be Built by Italians

The board of the Company for Motorways (DARS) deliberated on Tuesday about the revision claims connected to the choice of tenderers for building the 2.9 km long Trojane Tunnel, central Slovenia. The complaints were filed by Austrian company Alpine Bau and Slovene company SCT together with the company Impregilo from Milan, Italy, which all failed to be selected. Unofficially, DARS rejected both complaints, so the decision that the Italian company Impressa Grasseto will carry out the project remains.
