Demsar Comments on Incidents in Defense Ministry

Ljubljana, 12 January - The Minister of Defence, Franci Demsar, talked to Radio Slovenia on the current situation in the Slovene Defense. In concern to the Zavrc affair at the beginning of last year, in which Slovenia lost a van worth DEM 1 million and on the recent arrest of three Slovene men attempting to cross the Croatian border illegally, one of whom is a member of the Slovene Army, Demsar said that the incidents are regrettable and that they should not have happened. He added that the Zavrc incident, in which the spying van was seized by Croatian authorities is a bilateral matter between Croatia and Slovenia.
